CLARK GILBERT ROEDER
Clark Gilbert Roeder, son of Frank and Melvina (Klink) Roeder, was born April 24, 1935 at Elkader, Iowa. He received his education at the Communia country School.
Clark was united in marriage to Sandra Gay Cota on August 27, 1960 at Elkader. The couple farmed in rural Elkader. He retired from farming in 1979, at which time the couple moved to Farmersburg.
Clark died Thursday, June 13, 1996 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra, one daughter, Sonya and her husband, Rodney Stagman of Farmersburg; one brother, Clyde Roeder of St. Olaf; one sister, Darla Fischer of Edgewood and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 16, 1996, 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Farmersburg, with Pastor Bruce Hanson officiating. Mrs. LaFonda Scherf was the organist. Pall bearers were Kevin Roeder, Kent Roeder, Scott Henkes, Dick Streicher, Don Bossard and Lonnie Fischer. Burial was in the Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, rural Farmersburg.
Schultz's Funeral Home of Monona was in charge of services.
