Henry H. Timmerman was born August 12, 1901, on a farm northeast of Monona, the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. William (Harmina Witt) Timmerman. During his lifetime he worked in various places as a farm hand. The past eight years he made his home with Mr. & Mrs. Harvey Wagner in Waukon, Iowa. He passed away on January 6, 1980, in the Samaritan Home in Waukon, after a brief illness, at the age of 78 years, 4 months, and 24 days.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Eugene, who died June 23, 1971; and one grandson, who lived in Wisconsin, two brothers: Grover of Lansing, Iowa; and Herman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Surviving are five brothers: Fred of Howell, Michigan; Harry, Theodore, Frank, and Willis, all of Monona; and four sisters: Mrs. Herman (Selda) Topel and Mrs. William (Anna) Ferguson, both of Waukon; Mrs. Wesley (Emma) Snitker of Frankville; and Mrs. Verni (Mabel) Kruse of Monona. Added by Connie Ellis 10/28/2010:

Note: The original information given to the funeral home has an error when it listed that Henry was preceded in death by his son and grandson.

The grandson, Tommy Travis Timmerman, should be listed as a survivor.

Tommy was the only grandchild of Henry and the only child of Eugene Timmerman.

I am the niece of Eugene Timmerman and the cousin of Tommy. Thank you, Connie L.(Kelly) Ellis
