Alvin Neal Ewing

Alvin Neal Ewing, age 81, of Corvallis, OR passed away Thursday, September 20, 2007 at his home. Services are pending.

Neal was born December 12, 1925 in Luana to Lawrence Edward and Sybil Irene (Nagel) Ewing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and other outdoor activities, and he was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Neal married Lila Hastings March 24, 1947. He and his family moved to Corvallis, OR in 1964, where he was employed at various wood-product mills.

Survivors include his wife, Lila Ewing of Corvallis, OR; his children, Lynn R. Ewing of Coos Bay, OR and Rick N. Ewing of Emmett, ID; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
