Tieke Rites Held Friday

Funeral services were held at the Tueke Funeral Chapel Friday afternoon for Edwin Tieke, 63, who died at Elkader last Wednesday. The services were conducted by Rev. E.W. Kraemer; pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg, and burial was in the Guttenberg City Cemetery.

Mr. Tieke was born January 14, 1904, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tieke, at Carroll, Iowa. He never married.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Christ Niemiller of Mobridge, South Dakota and a number of cousins.
