Every Rites on Wednesday August 28, 1958...Native of Osterdock Community Dies
Funeral services were held this Wednesday afternoon at the Tuecke funeral chapel for Roscoe P. Every, 76, of Osterdock who died Monday following a heart attack. The services were conducted by Rev. David Saunders, pastor of the Guttenberg Methodist church, and burial was in the Bethel cemetery.
Pallbearers for the service were Harry Borrett, Emil Moser, Louis Hansel, and Charles Moser.
Mr. Every, a sawmill operator, died at the Woodrow Noack farm where he had been sawing lumber Monday morning.Born near Osterdock on March 29, 1882, Mr. Every was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Every. He never married.
Surviving are two brothers, Herman Every of Colesburg and Elmer Every of Guttenberg, as well as four nephews and nine nieces.
