Lester William Walter

Lester William Walter, 88, of Elkader, IA, died Saturday, October 5, 2002, at the Good Samaritan Center in West union, IA following a long illness.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at the Peace united Church of Christ in Elkader, IA. The Rev. Shane Estes officiated with burial in the East Side Cemetery in Elkader, IA.

Survivors include four children: Gene (Marge) Walter, Luana; Karen (Art) Kloos, Shellsburg; Joyce (Leon) Hoth, St. Olaf; Mary (Willis) Gregory, Virginia Beach, VA; eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
