Pearl E. Wolff

Pearl E. Wolff died on July 5 after a lingering illness at Memorial Hospital at Prairie du Chien at the age of 78 years. Services were held from the Gospel Hall and Tuecke-Allenstein Funeral Home with Henry Wahls & Louis Brandt officiating. Pallbearers were Robert Brandt, Dale Wahls, Vern Wirkler, Harvey Wirkler, Charles Thurber, and Gerald Brandt.

Pearl E. Wolff, the daughter of John A. Maxwell and Susan Cook was born on May 7, 1894 at Cottage Hill, Ia. She was married to Elmer Bennet at Elkader in April 1924 and to George Wolff on Nov. 20, 1937 in Minn. They are both deceased. She is survived by 1 son, Calvin Bennett, Visalia, Calif.; 1 step-daughter, Mrs. Howard (Margaret) Hubacher, Waterloo, Wis.; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; 1 sister, Miss Mamie Maxwell of Garnavillo; 1 brother Harold Maxwell of Wilmington, Delaware.

She resided with her sister at the Moellering trailer court here after moving to Garnavillo in 1969 from Monona.

Postville Herald newspaper clipping, hand dated 1972, from my mother's obituary collection. Submitter has no further information.
