Debra White

Funeral services for Debra White were held Wednesday, June 1, 1988 at 11 a.m. in the Norway Lutheran Church, St. Olaf, Iowa. Rev. William Palmquist officiated. Schutte Funeral Service, Postville, was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Norway Cemetery.

Debra Sue White, daughter of Arlis G. and Rebecca J. (Lange) White, was born April 6, 1965 at Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. She died Saturday, May 28, 1988 at her home near Luana, Iowa.

She was baptized May 16, 1965 and confirmed May 13, 1979, both at the Norway Lutheran Church. In 1983 she graduated from the MFL Schools. Debra farmed with her parents in the St. Olaf-Luana area.

Debra was a member of the Norway Lutheran Church.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Russell James White, maternal grandfather, Leslie Loyal Lange, an uncle, Wesley White, 2 aunts, Debra and Ramona Lange and a cousin, Russ Kadlec.

Surviving are her parents, Arlis and Rebecca White, St. Olaf; 2 sisters, Darci (Mrs. Matthew Colsch), Luana, Darlis, at home; 2 brothers, Russell and Arlis, Jr., at home; a nephew, Matthew David Colsch, Luana; and her fiance, David Alley, Hawkeye; her paternal grandmother, Clara White, Postville; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ramona Lange, Lutz, Florida; several aunts, uncles, cousins and her dear friend "Grandma" Lillie Trudo of Luana.

Casket bearers were James Walter, William Eno, Robert Sass, Ronald Sass, Richard Herzmann, Kurtis Kurth.

Honorary Casket Bearers: Donald Sass, Jerome Sass, Verdis Schlake, Glen Kurth, LaVern Trudo.
