Gayle Faye Wittman

Gayle Faye Wittman was born to parents Martin and Hazel (Wilkinsin) Moser on Feb. 10, 1935 in Guttenberg. She died on March 27, 1992 at the Guttenberg Care Center. She was 57.

On April 19, 1952 she married Alfred Wittman, Jr. He died on Jan. 5, 1985. Their two sons, and their wives, are Rick and Sharon Wittman of Guttenberg and Daniel and Hye Yong Wittman of Killeen, Texas. Their two daughters,and their husbands, are Mrs. Doyle (Bonnie) Schroeder of Castalia and Mrs. Sid (Debbie) Summer of Guttenberg.

She worked in Dubuque, Decorah and lastly at Products Unlimited in Guttenberg. She belonged to St. John's Church in Guttenberg.

She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Survivors include Clark E. and Janet Moser of Guttenberg, Claire and Lois Moser of Idaho Falls, Idaho; three sisters, Mrs. Verdus (Fern) Patzner of Dubuque, Mrs. Bob (Brenda) Allman of Guttenberg and Joyce Frederick of Guttenberg.

Funeral services were held on March 30, 1992 at 10 a.m. at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg, Pastor L. R. Lechner officiating. She was buried at the Guttenberg City Cemetery.
