Mrs. Tena Glawe
Funeral services for Mrs. Tena Glawe, 90, were held Wednesday, February 6, 1974, at Peace United Church of Christ. Burial was in Eastside Cemetery. The Rev. Ted B. Newton officiated.
Mrs. Glawe died February 4, at her home in Elkader.
Tena Hoth was born on a Boardman Township farm on June 7, 1883. She spent her entire life in Clayton County.
On December 12, 1907, she was united in marriage to Henry C. Glawe who preceded her in death.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Irene Lamker, Elkader and two brothers, Edwin and Willis Hoth, both of Elkader. There are two grandchildren, Mrs. Floyd Possehl, Elkader and Dean Lamker, Golden Valley, Minnesota and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Glawe was a member of the Service Star Legion.
