Miss Eleanor Elaine Schlueter, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Roland C. Schlueter of Monona, became the bride of Dale K. Arneson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin L. Arneson of Barneveld, Wis., on Feb. 20, at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Monona. The Rev. R. C. Schlueter officiated. Mrs. James Hughes, Mt. Horeb, Wis., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Mrs. Wm. Suffern, Lockport, Ill., sister of the groom, and Miss Rachel Herbener of Milwaukee, Wis., cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids. Junior bridesmaids were Miss Julie Dettman, Monona, and Miss Cathy Hughes, Mt. Horeb, Wis., both nieces of the bride. Hilton Arneson, Barneveld, Wis., attended his brother as best man. Groomsman was Donald Seymour, Milwaukee, Wis., brother-in-law of the groom, and Raymond Thompson, friend of the groom, Vernon Thousand, cousin of the groom, both of Barneveld, Wis., and the Rev. Arnold Schlueter, brother of the bride, from Monticello, Iowa, were ushers. Flower girl was Miss Nancy Jane Dettman, Monona, niece of the bride, and ringbearer was Daniel Schlueter of Monticello, nephew of the bride.
The reception was held in the church parlors after the services, at which, Mrs. Donald Seymour, Milwaukee, Wis., sister of the groom, had charge of the guest book. Numerous others cut the cake, poured, waitressed, and presided at the gift table.
The bride is a graduate of the Monona high school and attended one year at Wartburg college, Waverly, Iowa. The groom graduated from Mt. Horeb high school.
After a wedding trip to Florida the new couple will be at home in Barneveld, Wis., where the bride will continue her work as a bank clerk, and the groom is engaged in farming.
