Butikofer - Pratt marriage - 1955

Peace Evangelical and Reformed church was the setting Monday for the wedding of Miss Anna Marie Pratt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Azel Pratt, Elkader, and Dan Butikofer Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Butikofer of Elgin. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated.

At the reception held in the church parlors, Mrs. Ward Cook, aunt of the bride of Waukon, and Mrs. Ben Butikofer of Elgin, poured, and Mrs. Merlin Hellum and Mrs. Sam Schneider cut the cake. Miss Zita Marie Butikofer was in charge of the guest book.

The bride has been an employee of the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for the past year. The new couple will be engaged in farming near Elgin, Iowa
