The wedding cake was cut and served by Mrs. Marvin Staake, aunt of the bride and Mrs. Mervin Anderson. Mrs. Curtis Olson and Mrs. Walter Rugland poured.
The bride is a graduate of the Elkader high school and has been employed as a practical nurse at the General hospital in Prairie du Chien for the past year and one half. The groom has been farming with his father, where they will make their home for the present.
