Wedding vows were exchanged in St. Mary's Catholic church as Miss Bette Knapp of LaCrosse, Wis., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Knapp of McGregor, became the bride of Daniel McNamara of LaCrosse, Wis., son of James McNamara of Prairie du Chien, Wis. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Harry Knapp of Jacksonville, Fla. The Rev. Phelan officiated. Maid of honor was Dorothy Collins of Dubuque and Mrs. Arden Key of Minneapolis, Minn. was bridesmaid. Frank McNamara of Madison, Wis., served his brother as best man, and Arden Key of Minneapolis was groomsman. Ushers were David Krieg of Prairie du Chien, and David Arneson of LaCrosse.
The bride was a graduate of McGregor high school and attended LaCrosse State Teachers college. Her husband was graduated from Campion at Prairie du Chien, attended LaCrosse State Teachers college and graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
After Nov. 01, the newlyweds will reside in LaCrosse, where the groom is a pharmacist at a drug store.
