Sunday, Sept. 22, 1957, Miss Ruth Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence C. Miller, Elkader, became the bride of Richard Koehn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koehn of St. Olaf. The ceremony occurred at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church, where the Rev. Robert Jacobs officiated. Miss Berdina Miller of Dubuque, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor, and the groom's brother, Wm. Koehn, served as best man. Kenneth Miller, New Hampton, brother of the bride, and Leo Koehn, brother of the groom were ushers.
At the reception the cake was cut by Mrs. Elmer Lembke, Elgin, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Lawrence Miller Jr., sister-in-law of the bride, Coffee was served by Mrs. Leo Koehn, Garnavillo, sister-in-law of the groom. Mrs. Kenneth Miller, New Hampton, sister-in-law of the bride and Mrs. Milford Koehn, St. Olaf, sister-in-law of the groom, were in charge of the gifts. Miss Janet Miller, Epworth, cousin of the bride, was in charge of the guest book.
The bride and groom are graduates of Central Consolidated Community schools at Elkader. After a brief wedding trip the new couple will be at home in Elkader.
