Miss Bernita Thein became the bride of James A. Brady, Wednesday, Sept. 08, in St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church at Garber. The Rev. W. Vonder__e officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred _. Thein of Garber, and Mr. Brady is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Brady of Greeley. Miss Berniece Thein, twin sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and __ay Brady, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Usherettes at the church were Miss Inez Jennings, cousin of the bride, and Miss Pauline Brady, cousin of the groom.

Mrs. Brady graduated from the Elkport public school and for the past seven months has been employed as a telephone operator with the Northwestern Bell telephone company at Elkader. Mr. Brady graduated from the Colesburg high school and attended the Institute of Business in Des Moines. He served with the medical corps in the Army for three years. He is now employed as accountant for Sherwin-Williams in Cedar Rapids, where the new home is being made.
