Horns - Ruff marriage - 1948

Miss Marianne Ruff, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Ruff, Elkader, became the bride of William J. Horns, Monona, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Horns, Monona, Thursday, Sept. 09, in the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Miss ___ Ruff served her sister as maid of honor, and Irwin Horns, Monona, served as best man.

The bride is a graduate of Elkader high school, while her husband attended the Monona school. After a two weeks wedding trip to the east, they will return and make their home with the groom's parents five miles east of Monona, where the groom will assist his father on the farm.
