Moyer - Olmsted marriage - 1948

Miss Margaret Olmsted, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. N. Olmsted of McGregor, was united in marriage to Edward W. Moyer, Son of Mrs. Gertrude M. Moyer of Long Island, N.Y., on Monday, June 21, in the home of the bride's parents. Rev. Robert Butler, of the Giard Methodist church, officiated. Piano music was provided by Philip Olmsted, brother of the bride, and Evelyn Allert. Mrs. Edna Heitmann, sister of the bride, sang a couple selections before the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Moyer left Tuesday by plane for Farnhurst, Delaware, where both are employed in Delaware state hospital.

Out of town guests at the wedding were: Mrs. Gertrude Moyer, Springfield Gardens, Long Island, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Olmsted and Bette, Mr. and Mrs. Neill Olmsted and daughter Toni, Gays Mills, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Heitmann, Keystone; Allan Bentley, Elkader; H. B. Klotzbach and Barton of Cedar Rapids.
