Hansel - Kuhse marriage - 1948

Miss Mary Lou Kuhse, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Kuhse, Elkader, and Charles Hansel, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hansel, Elkader, were married at the parsonage of the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church Friday, Apr. 02. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hansel, brother and sister-in-law of the groom.

Mrs. Hansel is a graduate of the Elkader high school and has since been employed at Oleson's Ben Franklin Store. Mr. Hansel attended Littleport high school. He is a veteran of World War II. Since his honorable discharge he has been employed with the Allen Motor Company.

Mr. and Mrs. Hansel will be at home in the upstairs apartment of the brides parents.
