Cook - Maehl marriage - 1948

Miss Inez Maehl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Maehl, Elkader, became the bride of William H. Cook Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Cook Sr., of Baltimore, Maryland, Saturday, Jan. 17, at the parsonage of the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Miss Marion Maehl of Chicago, a sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and John C. Maehl, brother of the bride, served as best man.

The new couple left Sunday for their new home at 1621 Barry Ave., Chicago. Mrs. Cook will continue her work at a beauty shoppe in that city. Her husband is employed with the Yellow Cab company, Chicago.
