Davis - Alwes marriage - 1948

A quiet home wedding was solemnized Sunday Jan. 4, when Erma Alwes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Alwes of Rinard, became the bride of Edwin G. Davis, son of Mrs. Jennie Davis of Volga. The Rev. W. C. H. Schaefer officiated. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Jim Howard, and Richard Brand, brother-in-law of the bride, was best man.

Mr. and Mrs. Davis will reside on the Mrs. Jennie Davis farm west of Volga.
