Meyer - Hoeger marriage - 1946

Miss Irma Hoeger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hoeger of Garnavillo, and Clarence Meyer, son of Mrs. Ben Meyer of Garber, were married at St. Joseph's church Tuesday morning. The Rev. L. C. Iekel officiated. Miss Veronica Hoeger, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Elias Hall, cousin of the groom, served as best man.

A wedding breakfast was served to the bridal party at the home of the bride's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schoulte, in Garnavillo.

After a wedding trip to Chicago, the new couple will make their home on a farm near Garber.
