Gregorson - Christianson marriage - 1946

Miss Agnes Christianson, daughter of Mrs. Henry Christianson of Elkader, and Merle W. Gregorson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Gregorson of Volga City, were married Thursday morning, Jan. 31, at the parsonage of the Lutheran church in St. Olaf. Dr. S. J. Strandjord, pastor, officiated. Miss Evelyn Moyna, a friend of the couple, was maid of honor, and Mervin Gregorson attended his brother as best man.

The bride is a graduate of the Elkader high school and attended Elkader junior college. she was also employed at the Schmidt's Pharmacy when not in school. The groom is a graduate of Elkader high school. He recently received his honorable discharge from the Navy, having been in the service a little over four years, 22 months of which were spent in the Aleutian Islands as a radioman first class.

The new couple will make their home in Strawberry Point, where Mr. Gregorson will be employed in the Sinclair station.
