Ihde - Mueller marriage - 1943

IHDE, MUELLER, ZITTERGRUEN

Miss Iola Mueller, youngest daughter of Deputy Sheriff and Mrs. Arnold Mueller of Elkader and Calvin Ihde, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Ihde of Monona, were married Thursday in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church in Monona. The Rev. R. C. Schleuter officiated.

Mrs. Agnes Zittergruen, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor, and Eugene Ihde served his brother as best man.

Mrs. Ihde received her high school education in the Guttenberg school and graduated from the Elkader junior college in 1941. She has taught in the rural schools for the past two years. Mr. Ihde received his education in the Farmersburg school and is engaged in farming near Monona, where the new home will be made.
