Meehan - Walz marriage - 1943

Eugene Meehan, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Meehan of Elkader, was married to Miss Florence Walz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Walz of Elkader, at St. Joseph's church, Thursday, Oct. 21. The Right Rev. Msgr. J. P. Taken officiated.

Mr. Meehan received his education in the Garnavillo school, while Mrs. Meehan graduated from the St. Joseph's high school in Elkader.

The new couple will live on the Mrs. Lucy Prentice farm east of St. Olaf.
