Palas - Erickson marriage - 1947

The marriage of Miss Norma Erickson, Elkader, and Clifford Palas, St. Olaf, was solemnized Friday, Nov. 14, at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Erickson of Elgin, and Mr. Palas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Luver Palas of St. Olaf. Miss Patricia Erickson, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Irene Gilster of Farmersburg, and Miss Yvonne Palas, St. Olaf, sister of the groom. John Palas of St. Olaf served his brother as best man. At present the bride is employed at the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co., and the couple will make their home on a farm near St. Olaf.
