Puffett - Ash mariage - 1947

Miss Wilma Mae Ash, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Ash of West Union, was united in marriage to Lloyd W. Puffett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merwyn L. Puffett of Strawberry Point, in the Methodist church, Volga, August 25th. The Rev. L. A. Faris officiated. Miss Leona Ash of Waterloo, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Melvyn Puffett, brother of the groom, was best man. The wedding march and recessional were played by the groom's mother.

The bride graduated from Fayette high school in 1943, attended Upper Iowa University, and for the past two years has been teaching the Osborne school. The groom is a Strawberry Point high school graduate of the class of 1943 and is engaged in farming with his father.
