STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Mary Barnes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Barnes of Strawberry Point, and Donald F. Ohls, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ohls of Fairbank, were married Tuesday, June 10. The Rev. John P. Fagan performed the ceremony in St. Mary's Catholic church. Miss Darlyne Barnes of Vinton, niece of the bride, was maid of honor, and Eugene Barnes of Vinton, nephew of the bride, was best man. The bride's brother, Jack Barnes of Washington, D.C, served as usher. Billy Barnes of Springville, a nephew of the bride, was ring bearer, and Gloria Ohls of Fairbank, sister of the groom, was flower girl.
The bride is a graduate of the St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Clinton, and the past two years has been employed in Mercy hospital in Oelwein. The groom served 54 months with the armed forces. The couple will live at 422 North Fredrick Street in Oelwein.
