STRAWBERRY POINT: Saturday, Dec. 28th, Miss Ann Runyon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rank S. Runyon, became the bride of James Richard Whanger of Huntington, W.Va., son of Mrs. Mildred Whanger of Huntington, W.Va. The Rev. R. Park Anderson officiated in the Methodist church. Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Willis Huebner of Manchester. The bride graduated from the Strawberry Point High School, attended the State University of Iowa and has been employed in Denver, Colo. The groom also attended Iowa University, spent three years in the Army Air Corps and is a junior this year in the Missouri School of Mines at Rolla, Mo., where the couple will make their home.

Out of town people attending the wedding were: Mrs. Mildred Whanger and Miss Dora Schweickert of Huntington, W.Va.; Mr. and Mrs. J. Karl Runyon and son David of Eldora; Mrs. Daisy Williams of Belle Plain; and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Novotany of Cedar Rapids.
