Miss Bernice Mohr, daughter of Mrs. Frieda Mohr of this place, became the bride of Harold Verikios, son of Mrs. Sam Grapsos of Madison, Wis., last Wednesday, in the Frieden's Evangelical church. Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated and Miss Della Beth de Bey sang. Miss Virginia Verikios, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. Miss Helen Verikios, also a sister of the groom, Miss Lillian Mohr and Mrs. Palmer Mohr, cousin and sister-in-law of the bride respectively, and Evelyn Goetsch of South Dakota, friend of the bride, were bridesmaids. Palmer Mohr, brother of the bride, was best man. Ushers were Lorraine Horstman, Clarence Hoffman, Harvey Glawe and Reno Forsyth, cousins and friends of the bride respectively. The new couple will make their home in Madison, Wis., where Mr. Verikios is employed. The bride graduated from the Elkader high school and attended the local junior college. The last three years she has been a resident of and employed in Madison. Mr. Verikios graduated from the East Side high school in Madison and also attended the University of Wisconsin.
