Burgett - DeSotel marriage - 1940

Strawberry Point: Miss Berdina DeSotel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed DeSotel of near Oelwein, and Fave Burgett, son of Delos Burgett of Strawberry Point, were married at the St. Mary's Catholic church Tuesday morning. The Rev. P. J. Boryle officiated. They were attended by Miss Neola Rogers, and Eldon DeSotel, brother of the bride. The new couple will make their home at Grundy Center where the groom is employed.
