Carroll - McCulloch marriage - 1939

MONONA: Miss Catherine Marie McCulloch, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. McCulloch of Monona, and Gerald J. Carroll, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Carroll of Cresco, were married Tuesday in St. Patrick's Catholic church, the Rev. Father Luke Donlon officiated. Miss Angela McCulloch, the bride's eldest sister, attended the bride, and Bernhard Blackburn was best man. The new couple is now at home in West Union, where the groom is in the employ of the Meyerhoff Food Market. Mrs. Carroll was born and reared in Calmar, where she graduated from high school, later moving to Cresco, and thence to Monona, where for several years she has been a clerk in the E. G. Kaiser grocery. Her husband was born and reared at Cresco.
