Barnum - Wold marriage - 1939

St. Olaf: Nuptial vows were exchanged by Miss Arleta Wold, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Wold, and Verdine Barnum, son of Harry Barnum, Thursday, in the Norway church. Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiated. The couple were attended by Mrs. Roy Russow of Rockford, Ill., and Burdette Wold, brother of the bride. The bride has been teaching in the primary grades at St. Olaf the past six years. The new couple will make their home at Pomeroy, Iowa, where Mr. Barnum is principal of the high school.
