Lee - Dobson marriage - 1939

Robert E. Lee and Burdella Dobson were quietly married in the Congregational church here in Elkader, Saturday, July 08th. The Rev. Noyes O. Bartholomew officiated. The contracting parties grew up together and attended the same high school in Pittsburg, Pa. They will make their home here.

Clayton County Register, 12 July 1939.
