VOLGA CITY: The marriage of Miss Edith Read, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Read of Arlington, and Evlon Kraus, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kraus of this place, took place Wednesday, Feb. 08, at St. Michaels parish rectory at Garber, The Rev. Julius J. Olinger, pastor, officiated. The attendants were Mrs. Carol Andreae of Arlington, sister of the bride, and Jerome Kraus of Volga City, brother of the groom. The bride is a graduate of Arlington high school, class of 1936. The new home will be at Littleport, where the groom will be employed by E. C. Pust in the used car business.
