Parmley - Schoentag marriage - 1938

Strawberry Point: Thursday at the Methodist church occurred the wedding of Miss Gertrude Schoentag, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sigmund F. Schoentag of Strawberry Point, and Howard Parmley, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Parmley of Waterloo, the Rev. Hobart M. Grant officiating. They were attended by the bridegroom's sister and brother, Miss Betty Parmley and Robert Parmley, of Waterloo. The bride graduated from the local school and for the past five years has been a successful teacher. The new couple will make their home at Waterloo.
