Miss Esther Weymouth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Weymouth, and Byers Nelson, son of Mrs. Gertrude Nelson of Rochester, Minn., were united in marriage Thursday, August 25. The ceremony took place at the Evangelical Lutheran church of Our Redeemer with the Rev. E. L. Stuempfig officiating.
They were attended by Miss Ina Weymouth, sister of the bride, and Albert Phillips of Waterloo. After the ceremony a three course dinner was served at the Mallard Cafe in McGregor.
The bride is a graduate of the Elkader high school and has been employed at the Deluxe Grill in Waterloo for the past year. Mr. Nelson, formerly of the Gamble store in Elkader, is employed by the Tungsten Manufacturing Co. They will make their home either in Waterloo or Cedar Rapids.
