Mueller - Dutton marriage - 1938

STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Marion Rosalie Dutton, only daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ralph W. Dutton of Strawberry Point, and Harland L. Mueller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman L. Mueller of Victor, were united in marriage, Thursday evening, at the Methodist church, the Rev. Hobart M. Grant officiating. Miss Maxine Mueller, of Victor, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Lloyd Pleggenkuhle of Sumner was best man. Mrs. Mueller was graduated from the Strawberry Point public school in 1933, from Lenox Junior College at Hopkinton 1n 1935, and Upper Iowa University at Fayette in 1937. For the past year she has been Home Economics teacher in the Lisbon high school. The groom was graduated from the Victor high school in 1932, and from Upper Iowa University at Fayette in 1937. For the past year he has been teaching at Riverton. The home will be made at Garnavillo, where the groom is coach and high school principal.
