At Sacred Heart church Cox Creek, Thursday, June 23, occurred the marriage of Miss Gertrude O'Brien, oldest daughter of Mrs. Mary O'Brien, to Durwood Scully, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Scully of Monona, formerly of Strawberry Point. The Rev. P. J. Boyle officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Probert, of Elkader, were the attendants.
