Meyer - Quinn marriage - 1938

Miss Dolores Quinn, youngest daughter of Mrs. Catherine Quinn of Strawberry Point, and John C. Meyer, son of Mrs. Agnes Meyer of Elkader, were united in marriage at the St. Mary's Catholic church on Monday. John T. Quinn of Dubuque, and Charles Boland of Strawberry Point, brother and nephew of the bride, were the ushers. Rev. Patrick J. Boyle officiated. Attendants were Miss Katherine Boland, niece of the bride, and Joseph Meyer, brother of the groom. The bride graduated from the Strawberry Point high school in the class of 1930, and has been postal clerk in the local post office. The groom graduated from St. Joseph's school at Elkader in 1924, and attended the Columbia college at Dubuque for two years. He is an interior decorator. The home will be made with the bride's mother here.
