Meinkin - Fonda marriage - 1937

MEINKIN, FONDA, WIRKLER, TURNER

MONONA: Miss Esther Fonda of Monona was married to Henry Meinkin of Aurora, Iowa, last Wednesday afternoon in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wilker. The Rev. George W. Turner, pastor of the local Methodist church, officiated. Little Janet Wirkler, niece of the bride, carried the ring. A wedding dinner was served by the bride's sister, Mrs. Edward Wirkler, assisted by a cousin, Miss Ruth Turner, of Postville. The couples new home will be made on the groom's farm near Aurora.
