Davis - Juvik marriage - 1937

DAVIS, DIVIS, JUVIK

Miss Sofie Juvik, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Juvik, Elkader, became the bride of Raymond Divis, McGregor, Wednesday, Sept. 22, at the Norway Lutheran church, Wagner township. Rev. S. J. Strandjord of St. Olaf, officiated. The couple were attended by Miss Marie Davis, sister of the groom, and Odin Juvik, brother of the bride. Agnes Juvik, only sister of the bride, was flower girl. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Davis will be at home on a farm near McGregor.

(Note: both spellings of the grooms surname was used in the article, as shown.)
