Monona: Miss Irene Johanningmeier and Woodrow Tapper were married, Monday, in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church. The Rev. H. W. Siefkes officiated. Helen Johanningmeier, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and the bridesmaids were Miss Maria Jane Tapper and Mrs. Willard Tapper, sister and sister-in-law of the groom. Maxine Johanningmeier and Junior Wiedeman were flower girl and flower boy. Ushers were Eldo Johanningmeier and Bruce Tapper, brothers of the bride and groom. Mrs. Bruce Tapper played the wedding march and assisted the duet sung by Misses Jean and Gladys Johanningmeier. Mrs. Tapper is the Eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Johanningmeier. The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Tapper, and both he and the bride are graduates of the Monona high school. The bride has taught in the rural schools the past few years. The new home will be on the William clifford farm near Monona.
