Scharff - Skibbe marriage - 1936

Last Thursday at the Lutheran parsonage at Strawberry Point occurred the marriage of Mrs. Kate Skibbe of Strawberry Point, and John Scharff of Elkader. The Rev. M. O. Jahr officiated. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Chris Doepke of Garnavillo. After a motor trip to the lakes they will return and make their home near Elkader until fall, when they will go to California to spend the winter.
