GARNAVILLO: On Tuesday, at St. Joseph's church at Garnavillo, occurred the wedding of Miss Gertrude Berns, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Berns of this place, to Mr. Leander Goebel of Luxemberg. The Rev. Henry Scharphoff officiated. The young couple were unattended. The new couple will make their home in Masonville, Iowa, where Mr. Goebel is engaged in farming.
