Walter - Wacker marriage - 1936

Tuesday evening, Miss Louise Lavon Wacker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wacker, became the bride of Mr. Lester W. Walter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Walter of Luana. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated at the ceremony, which occurred at the home of the bride's parents. Attending the couple were Miss Ruth Dinan of Littleport and James Eno of Luana. In the evening more than 500 guests attended a dance at the opera house to congratulate the couple. They plan to go to Minneapolis, Minn,, were they will visit the bride's aunt, Mrs. Joe Nelson. The couple's home will be made on a farm near Luana.
