Eggers - Stebor marriage - 1920

Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Stebor, occurred the marriage of Ruth Anna and Roy J. Eggers, of Farmersburg, Rev. C. H. Franke officiating. The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stebor, and a graduate of Elkader High School. Since last fall she has been teaching a school in Wagner township. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Eggers, of Farmersburg, and attended the local high school for some time and it is there that the romance began. The contracting parties were attended by Miss Mabel Stebor, sister of the bride, and Mr. A. C. Atkens. Only the immediate families were present. The newlyweds departed on an extended wedding trip to Chicago, Kansas City, Mo., and points in Kansas, where they will visit relatives. After Feb. 18th, they will be at home in Elkader.
