Downey - Pieck marriage - 1920

Wednesday, Jan. 14, occurred the marriage of Joseph Downey to Miss Hildegardt Pieck at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rev. Father Taken officiating. They were attended by Miss Katherine Downey, sister of the groom, with Martin Stence as groomsman. A wedding dinner was served about eighty guests at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Pieck. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Downey and is one of the promising young farmers who has already made good. The new couple will reside on the groom's farm.
