Zurcher - Gilster marriage - 1915

On Wednesday, Mar. 24, a very pretty home wedding was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Gilster, of near Farmersburg, Iowa, when their daughter, Elsie Augusta, was united in marriage to Emil Zurcher, both of Farmersburg, Iowa, Rev. Glaeser, pastor of the Evangelical church officiating. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Gilster, and has grown to womanhood in this community. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Gottleib Zurcher, and has been reared to manhood in this community. The last few years he has spent in Canada, where he conducted a farm.
