Troup - Schriver marriage - 1923

Last Wednesday morning at St. Mary's parsonage occurred the marriage of Miss Donna Schriver and Vern Troup, Rev. Father Casey officiating. They were attended by Miss Helen Curley and Lennie Gibbs. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. Tom Schriver. She graduated from our local school with the class of 1922 and since that time has been one of Clayton county' successful teachers. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Troup and graduated with the class of 1920 and like the bride has taught school. They will go to Richard, Iowa, where they have been engaged to teach school this coming year.
